Arranging facilities might need involvement in all related countries of:
-
Capgemini’s departments like facilities, service delivery, security and compliance
-
Client’s departments like facilities and human resources
-
Client’s and Capgemini’s partners regarding infrastructure services
-
Client’s and/or Capgemini’s partners regarding purchasing software licenses
-
Local and regional government institutions.
The costs of the office space itself, connecting it to the Capgemini network and implementing the usual human resource
processes and security measures might be part of the resources’ cost price in the country involved. Hiring additional
office space and implementing specific security requirements from a facilities perspective is an activity executed by
different Capgemini departments like facilities, purchasing, ITICS etc. The specific Capgemini-Client network
connectivity needed might be a Technology And Infrastructure work stream activity that needs approval from local or
regional government institutions. All these tasks need to be supervised by the Service Engagement Staff work stream to
align the availability of facilities to the ramp-up of the resources.
The duration of getting the office space facilities completely up & running and to get the facilities for the
individual resources in place in time can be a major factor in the transition program planning.
The actual status of the facilities to be arranged is logged in the Facility Tracker artifact.
